One inbox, read by editors

Everything reaches us at support@alpesmotoracing.com. That is the only address we publish and the only one we answer from. It is read and triaged by the editors themselves, not by a ticket system, and in a team this size a single inbox beats a row of departmental aliases where mail goes to die.

Put the purpose at the front of your subject line and you will reach the right person faster: CORRECTION, TIP, PITCH, ADVERTISING, PRIVACY or DMCA is all we need. If your message is about a specific article, paste the link rather than describing the headline.

Corrections

If we have published something factually wrong, a spec, a price, a result, a date, a name, write with CORRECTION in the subject, the article link, and the exact sentence you are disputing, ideally with a pointer to the correct figure. Race results that changed after a stewards’ decision are the most common case and we want to hear about them within hours, not days. Our corrections policy explains what happens once your mail lands.

Tips

The most valuable mail we get comes from inside the sport and the industry: a homologation document, a recall notice before it is widely reported, a dealer bulletin, something seen in a paddock that does not match the official line. Tell us what you saw, where and when, and send the document if you have it.

If sending something could cost you your job, your ride or your accreditation, protect yourself first. Write from a personal account on a personal device, and tell us what level of confidentiality you need. We do not name sources who ask not to be named, and we would rather lose a story than burn one.

Press and PR

Press releases, launch invitations and review requests go to the same inbox with PITCH in the subject. Two things worth knowing before you write: we disclose press launches in our coverage as a matter of policy, and no payment, ad spend or hospitality buys a verdict or a headline. If that works for you, we are easy to deal with.

Advertising

Commercial enquiries go to the same address with ADVERTISING in the subject. Read Advertise With Us first; it explains what we run, what we refuse, and why the editorial pages are not for sale.

What not to send

We cannot value your motorcycle, settle a warranty dispute with your dealer, or diagnose the noise your engine makes, and answering as if we could would be a disservice; for those, your dealer, the manufacturer’s customer service, or a qualified mechanic are the right doors. We also do not print reader submissions as articles, though a good tip inside one has more than once become a story we reported ourselves.

Response times

Corrections get priority and are usually handled the same day. Everything else is answered as fast as a small team can manage, normally within a few working days. If your matter concerns personal data, put PRIVACY in the subject and see our privacy policy for what we hold and what you can ask us to do with it.
